Acid & alkali resistant gloves have high alkali resistance of 70% and high acid resistance of 55%. They are soft, comfortable and easy to wear. Acid & alkali resistant gloves are mainly used to prevent hand damage caused by contacting with acids and alkalis or work requires exposure to acid and caustic soda solutions. They are commonly used in chemical plants, textile factories, printing & dyeing plants, electronics, pharmaceuticals, electroplating processes, alkali industries, laboratories and other fields.
Acid & alkali resistant gloves are made of special styrene-butadiene rubber, which possess of strong resistance to sulfuric acid, sodium cyanide and strong acids. They can inhibit the harmful effects of these corrosive chemicals on the skin and are widely applicable in both high and low concentrations of compounds.
Classification of acid & alkali resistant gloves
Acid & alkali resistant gloves are mainly classified as follows,
------Vulcanized rubber acid & alkali resistant gloves. These gloves are divided into two types, fingerless and mittens.
------Latex industrial gloves. These gloves are suitable for contact with low concentrations of acid & alkali solutions, dyeing solutions, pollutants, general chemicals, hazardous chemical raw materials and general industrial operations. They prevent occupational hazard skin diseases.
------Hot-dip galvanized acid & alkali resistant gloves. These gloves are hand-shaped gloves.
------Plastic gloves. These gloves are made of soft material, which is acid & alkali resistant, cold resistant and anti-aging.
